Meet Your Financial Coach – Kimberly
Hi, I’m Coach Kim— best known as the Neighborhood Aunty.
Holding a Master’s in Business Administration, a Six Sigma Green Belt, and certifications in Lean Project Management and Executive Management. I assist clients with the up most diligence and care in helping them regain control of their lives, and take ownership of their financial journey.
My mission is simple:
To help you regain control, create intentional wealth, and make every dollar work with purpose.
My motto:
“Take ownership of your life, with the little choices YOU choose every day.”

Why I Coach
I’ll never forget the first of many eviction letters slipped under my college dorm room door. I called home, frantic. My father promised to find a way to pay my tuition—even though we were already behind on the mortgage and utility bills.
He did it. He pulled together $10,000 so I could attend North Carolina A&T for a semester—and then he did it again.
During my third semester of college, I decided to go home and attend community college. To me, school wasn't worth the financial burden it was putting on my family.
When I walked through the door, my father’s eyes widened. "Why are you home?" he asked. I told him I was going to community college.
My father protested, "I’ll pay wherever you want to go. I’ll pay for it—even Harvard!" I said, "No, Daddy. I’m going to community college."
Three days later, my father died of a heart attack on his way to work. Shortly after his passing, we lost our home. I also lost my dad’s paid-off Ford F-150 and my own car in a bad dealership deal. The replacement car I financed came with a 22% interest rate I couldn’t afford. Within months, I had to return it—along with a big portion of my inheritance check.

What I Wish I Could’ve Said
I replay those moments often, wishing I had the knowledge I do now.
“Dad, there’s a way to send all four of your children to college—tuition free.”
“Mom, here’s how we can get better life insurance so you can enjoy your golden years in peace.”
I can’t share that knowledge with my father.
But I can share it with you.

Coaching Session
I had a random life coaching call, that moved from the telephone to an awesome video meeting. This meeting was impromptu, unscheduled and awesome. Moments like these, to empower, encourage and witness growth is truly awesome and humbling.
So with their permission please enjoy this snippet of our segment. We were talking about being productive and finding the right resources and it turned in to: The Apple Lesson.
The apple Lesson
The Potential in You! 🍎
The apple lesson reminds us: you already have everything you need to succeed, to transform your life and impact generations to come. Too often, we overlook the seeds already present in our lives. Imagine planting a seed from every fruit and vegetable you’ve ever eaten. What would your garden look like?
It’s the same with dreams. Desire is there, but fear keeps us from planting. We focus on what we lack instead of who we’re becoming. Some of the greatest inventions weren’t born out of abundance but emerged from humble conditions. Jesus fed 5,000 with two fish and three loaves. Why did He do that?
Think about it…
What does this mean for your capacity to change your life?
